EMERGENCY MEDICINE

POSITION SUMMARY
This role provides comprehensive emergency care within a high volume department that includes multiple specialized units. The position supports trauma coverage through collaboration with surgical teams, contributes to stroke care services, and participates in a broad range of acute presentations across dedicated emergency care areas.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine.
• Residency training in emergency medicine.
• Training or experience in Emergency Medicine.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Florida.
• ATLS certification, with ACLS and PALS required when board eligible.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to manage diverse emergency conditions across specialized treatment areas.
• Skill in working within a high acuity, high volume emergency setting.
• Effective collaboration with trauma surgery and multidisciplinary teams.
• Capacity to utilize modern diagnostic tools and industry standard EMR.
• Commitment to maintaining clinical quality and operational efficiency.
WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Hospital; Inpatient
• Large emergency department with multiple clinically designated units.
• Collaboration with trauma surgery, pediatric emergency care, and obstetric emergency services.
• Use of advanced imaging technology and industry standard EMR.
• Access to helipad transport resources and specialized treatment areas.
• Physician participation in governance and operational planning.
