Please ask about our generous referral fees!o Locum tenens job openingo Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible cardiothoracic surgeono Looking for coverage when the primary surgeon is on vacation or needs weekend coverageo Need providers available for consecutive blocks of coverage (example: Thursday 7:00am through Monday 7:00am)o Typically need 9-12 shifts per montho Coverage includes inpatient rounding, surgery, clinic, and call responsibilitieso Wednesdays are dedicated TAVR procedure and clinic dayso Minimal inpatient call volume and admissionso Urgent dissections and overnight surgical emergencies are rareo No in-house call requiremento Providers generally stay locally and must maintain a 30-minute response timeo Average admissions while on call: 2o Typical schedule:• Non-operative days: 8:00am-4:30pm• Operative days: Start at 6:30amo Office triages calls Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pmo After-hours, weekend, and holiday calls go directly to the physiciano No APP coverage on weekends or holidayso All weekend consults, orders, discharges, and OR coordination are handled by the physiciano Weekend OR staff are on-call and activated through the answering serviceo Bread and butter cardiac surgery cases:• CABG• AVR• MVRo EMR: Cernero Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
