Facility:This established healthcare system provides comprehensive pathology services across multiple locations in Montana. The facility offers strong support with pathologist assistants available and maintains high standards of patient care while serving the regional community's diagnostic needs.
Opportunity:Physician - Pathology - Anatomic and Clinical
Job Details:• Provide locum coverage as part of the local pathology team working in the Missoula lab
• Handle up to 30 cases per day, primarily diagnostic cases
• Work Monday through Friday clinic hours (8a-5p)
• Provide beeper call coverage at night (7p-7a) and 24-hour weekend coverage (7a-7a)
• Pathologist assistants are available for support
• Surgical pathology skills required
• Dermatopathology and grossing/cutting frozen sections preferred
• Board certification required (board certification eligible considered)
• BLS certification required
• Must be licensed in MT or hold IMLC
• 90-day credentialing timeframe
• Coverage can be provided by one provider or split between two providers
• Overtime requires prior approval
• Lodging available with facility discounts
Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
