OB Hospitalist Physician
Location: Dallas, Texas
Schedule: Full-Time 24-Hour Shifts Rotating Weekends
Compensation: $170/hour + Incentives
A premier women s and children s hospital in Dallas is seeking a board-certified OB/GYN to join a high-performing OB Hospitalist team. This is a hospital-based role offering structured scheduling, strong specialty support, and the opportunity to practice within a tertiary, high-acuity maternal environment.
This position is ideal for physicians who thrive in hospital-based practice and value collaboration, clinical excellence, and predictable scheduling.
Position Highlights
• 24-hour structured shifts
• No traditional on-call duties
• Six shifts per month considered full-time (18 per quarter)
• Two OB hospitalists scheduled and on-site at all times
• First assists available to support hospitalists and private physicians
• Strong, reliable back-up call system
• Flexible scheduling designed to support work-life balance
• Part-time and PRN options available
Clinical Responsibilities
• Emergency obstetric coverage
• Unassigned OBED coverage
• Gynecologic emergency care
• Support for private OB physician emergencies
• Participation in a collaborative, team-based care model
You will work within a highly specialized maternal and pediatric campus with strong interdisciplinary support and established safety protocols.
