Full-time coverage needed with 5 clinic days per week, 8-hour clinic shifts on a day scheduleOngoing assignment with a minimum 6-month commitment requiredEstablished patient panel already in placeClinic starts at 8:00 AM with first patient scheduled at 8:15/8:30 AM and last patient scheduled at 3:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunchAverage of 15 patients per day with a 60% Hematology / 40% Oncology splitProvider expected to see solid tumor oncology, benign hematology, and malignant hematology patientsAdult Hematology & Oncology patient population in a rural community settingWeekend coverage: 2 weekends per month; Night call: 10 days per month on a 1:2 call rotationCall type includes inpatient and phone call coverage; consulting service only with hospitalists managing admissionsWeeknight call runs from 4:15 PM to 8:00 AM; typically 2-3 patient calls between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PMWeekend call includes 24-hour coverage with 2 hours gratis rounding on Saturday and Sunday14-chair infusion center onsite with a 2-bed infusion room and oncology-certified nursing staffRadiation Oncology located onsiteBone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, port access, and BMT consults/care are not requiredPractice setting includes both clinic and hospital; EMR system is EPICSupport structure includes 1.3 Hem/Onc physicians onsite, 3 APPs, onsite pharmacist support, and participation in disease-specific and general tumor boardsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology required with a minimum of 1 year of experienceDEA required; PA license or IMLC onlyFacility:
