Job Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Locum)
Join a supportive and collaborative healthcare facility located in the picturesque city of Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to work in a dynamic environment with 8-hour shifts and the possibility of transitioning from locum to permanent after 6 months. The facility boasts a range of surgical services including general, pediatric, and regional anesthesia procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia services in the main operating room and endoscopy settings.
- Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical cases including adult and pediatric general surgeries, obstetrical cases, and neurosurgical procedures.
- Work under supervision while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
- Document all procedures and patient information using Meditech Expanse EMR.
- Monitor patient responses during and after anesthesia administration.
- Participate in on-call or weekend rotations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
- Current certification in ACLS and BLS.
- Active state license in Massachusetts or a willingness to obtain one.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred, although new graduates are welcome to apply.
License and Certification Requirements:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification - Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification - Required
- Active Massachusetts state license - Required
