POSITION SUMMARY
The Department seeks an ophthalmology specialist to join an established practice providing medical and surgical eye care within a large service region. The role includes outpatient evaluations, office based procedures, and surgical management of cataract and glaucoma related conditions. The position offers a stable patient base, shared call responsibilities, and access to on site surgical facilities and diagnostic resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Ophthalmology.
• Residency training in ophthalmology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in South Carolina.
• Interest in cataract and glaucoma related surgical care.
• Ability to collaborate within a team based ophthalmology practice.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to evaluate and manage a broad range of ophthalmic conditions.
• Skill in performing cataract and glaucoma related procedures.
• Capacity to work within a high volume outpatient environment.
• Commitment to patient centered ophthalmic care.

Work Environment: Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice; Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC); Hospital
