Grand Rapids & Muskegon, Michigan Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician (Full-Time)Position Overview
  • Schedule: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
  • Primary Location: Grand Rapids, MI
  • Secondary Coverage: Muskegon, MI (as needed)
  • Call: Shared (mostly phone call; minimal hospital visits)
  • Position Type: Permanent (No locums)
Clinical Role
  • Provide advanced Maternal Fetal Medicine care for high-risk pregnancies and fetal complications
  • Collaborate with OBs, neonatologists, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Serve as a regional referral resource
  • Participate in teaching and training of residents and medical students
Practice Setting & Support
  • Regional MFM program with strong referral network
  • Current team: 1 community provider + 1 contract provider + residency clinic
  • Dedicated support staff at all locations:
    • Medical Assistant (MA)
    • Sonographer
    • Additional clinical staff
Qualifications & Certifications
  • Board Status:
    • Board Certified OR TRULY Board Eligible required
    • BE candidates must obtain BC within 2 years
  • Not Accepted:
    • Candidates with lapsed board certification
    • Locums candidates
  • Open to experienced providers and strong new graduates
Licensure & Visa
  • License: Michigan (or ability to obtain)
  • Visa:
    • H1B: Accepted
    • J1 Waiver: Not accepted
