Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)


Job Details:

  • Weekend shift coverage needed every Saturday and Sunday, 8 or 12 hours depending on department needs

  • Daytime shift availability with 5 x 8-hour shifts

  • Locum Tenens request type with 2-5 patient encounters per shift

  • Department has 27 beds

  • Surgical cases include GYN, Orthopedic, Cystoscopy, General Surgery, Cardiac, Pulmonary, Pediatrics, OB, Vascular, Neuro Spine, and Endoscopy

  • General Anesthesia required for adult, pediatric, and trauma patients

  • Obstetrical cases required (no regional anesthesia required)

  • Neurosurgical spine cases required

  • Open heart anesthesia required

  • Thoracic cases required (excluding open heart)

  • Complex vascular and complex orthopedic cases required

  • Ventilation management required

  • Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues required

  • Arterial line placement required; central line placement preferred

  • CRNA supervision required

  • Board certification required at minimum Certified level

  • Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS

  • Facility is a Level 3 Trauma Center

  • 30-minute lunch will be deducted from time worked per day
