  • Hours/Week: Approx. 40 hours/week
  • Employment Type: Locum/Per Diem
  • License/Certifications: Virginia State Medical License (or IMLC/LOQ in hand), Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology, DEA, BLS
  • Experience: Prior experience in hospital-based Hematology/Oncology preferred

What You ll Do:
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient Hematology and Oncology care
  • Oversee care delivered by nurse practitioners and support staff
  • Participate in patient enrollment for clinical research studies
  • Manage call coverage and consults within the hospital
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a busy oncology setting
  • Document patient visits in EPIC EMR system
  • Assist with coordination of adult patient care

What You Need:
  • Active Virginia medical license or eligible for IMLC/LOQ
  • Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
  • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to oversee NP practice and participate in research initiatives
