INTERNAL MEDICINE HEMATOLOGY AND ONCOLOGY

POSITION SUMMARY

This role provides general hematology and oncology care within a comprehensive cancer center that integrates medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, and infusion services in a single location. Responsibilities include outpatient evaluation and treatment, participation in a shared call rotation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary oncology team. The position supports a high volume practice within a growing coastal region and benefits from coordinated clinical and administrative resources.



QUALIFICATIONS

• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine and/or Hematology and Oncology.
• Residency training in Internal Medicine.
• Fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in South Carolina.
• Clinical background in general hematology and oncology.



COMPETENCIES

• Proficiency in outpatient hematology and oncology evaluation and management.
• Ability to collaborate with oncology physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff.
• Skill in participating in a structured call rotation.
• Capacity to work within a multidisciplinary cancer center.
• Commitment to coordinated oncology care within an integrated system.
