- Experience: Minimum 3 years in Maternal Fetal Medicine, proficiency in high-risk obstetrics procedures

What You ll Do:
- Provide inpatient and outpatient high-risk obstetric care across multiple hospital sites
- Perform procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and cerclage (preferred)
- Manage pregnancies complicated by hypertension, growth restriction, chromosomal abnormalities, and other co-morbidities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including NPs, sonographers, and genetic counselors
- Document patient interactions using EPIC EMR system
- Offer guidance and supervision to clinical support staff
- Cover approximately 27 patients per day on average, overseeing maternal and fetal health
- Rotate between hospital locations (Richmond, Midlothian; hospitals 30 minutes apart)
What You Need:
Required: - MD or DO degree with valid medical license in Virginia
- Board certification or eligibility in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Experience with high-risk obstetrics procedures and management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred: - Experience with AMERICAN LEVEL III NICU
- Prior locum or hospital-based practice experience
- Ability to supervise or oversee clinical staff
