Job description
As our General Surgeon, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Dickinson, specializing in treating patients making a significant impact on them and their families. A place where your skills are profoundly valued, your community warmly embraces you, and your life outside the clinic thrives.
Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of women and their families within CHI St. Alexius Health.
To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate General Surgeon, possessing expertise in surgical procedures, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary teams
Provide ongoing management and follow-up care
Offer guidance and support to patients
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care
Stay current with research and best practices to provide evidence-based care
Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote awareness
We are offering a generous base salary, a starting bonus, and relocation assistance, in addition to a additional productibity and performance incentives for those who meet the eligibility requirements.
Opportunity Details:
- Generous compensation $517,270
- Quality and Productivity bonus eligibility
- Paid relocation up to $15,000
- Starting loan up to 10% of base salary
- Schedule: 3 Clinic Days; 2 Operating Room Days
- Call: 1 in 3
- EMR: Allscripts-clinic; Meditech-hospital
- Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible Employer
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery
- Active or eligible license in the state of North Dakota
- Strong clinical skills with experience in General Surgery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to women and families

Pay Range
$517,270 - $543,133 /year
