Job description

Frantz dental is a seeking a skilled, reliable, patient focused dental assistant to join our team!

In this role, you will contribute to our clinical flow, ensuring our patients our patients feel comfortable and well cared for from the moment they enter the operatory.

Key responsibilities:
  • Four-handed dentistry - provide efficient chairside assistance to the dentist during exams, procedures, extractions, and treatments.
  • Patient prep and comfort.
  • Greet, seat, and drape patients; Review and update medical histories, and address patient anxieties.
  • Radiography
  • Lab work and impressions
  • Infection control
  • Instrument processing
  • Biohazard management
  • accurate charting
  • inventory and stocking
  • Lab Case tracking
Qualifications and Skills
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Pennsylvania Radiological Certification
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • Experience - 2+ Years of Dental Assisting
  • Software proficiency
  • Experience with digital dental charting and digital Xray
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills, with a team first mindset
Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain mobile for extended periods, sit chairside, and maintain fine motors kills during delicate clinical tasks
