Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) with weekend rotation
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Start Date: Typical start date is within approximately 2 weeks after offer acceptance and completion of onboarding/credentialing requirements.
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse with strong critical care skills and Day 0 CVICU experience. Candidate must be comfortable floating to CCU as needed. This assignment is at a smaller independent Colorado hospital with two Cath Labs, including one Hybrid Cath Lab.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level CVICU and CCU patient care
- Manage critically ill cardiac patients
- Participate in weekend and on-call rotation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Utilize Meditech EMR documentation system
Shift & Call Requirements
- 12-hour night shifts
- Weekend rotation required
- Must participate in call rotation
- One call shift every 2-week pay period may replace guaranteed hours if staffing requires
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of RN Critical Care experience required
- Strong CVICU experience required
- Day 0 CVICU experience required
License & Certification Requirements
- Active Colorado RN License required
- BLS certification (AHA)
- ACLS certification (AHA)
- PALS certification required for submission
- Current seasonal Flu Vaccination required (no exemptions accepted during flu season)

Important Notes
- Travelers must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
- CAPS requirement applies and may take up to 2 weeks to obtain
- Facility does not accept 1099 contractors
