Seeking a Locums RadiationOncology Physician to provide coverage in a predominantly outpatient setting inAlpena, Michigan is. This role offers a balanced schedule with a strong focuson continuity of care, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 3 days per week
- Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Preferred Days: Tuesday - Thursday (flexible if needed)
Practice Setting
- Clinic: 99% Outpatient / 1% Inpatient
- Inpatient consults are infrequent but possible
- Dedicated weekly tumor boards (attendance required)
- EMR: Epic
- Dictation: Dragon

- E&M services
- New consults and follow-ups
- Radiation treatment management
- Treatment planning and oversight

- CT Simulation (CT Sim)
- Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)
- Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
- Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT)
- Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
- Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
- High-Dose-Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy
Requirements
- Active Michigan medical license (MI license only)
- BLS certification
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
