Physician Position Overview
Seeking a Physician to provide outpatient medical care in a Rural Acute Care Hospital setting. The provider will conduct regular outpatient clinics, perform general medical and pediatric examinations, diagnose and treat patients, coordinate specialty referrals when needed, and provide professional medical care to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care
Conduct general medical and pediatric examinations
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
Determine when specialist consultation is required
Authorize hospital admissions for emergency medical care and surgery when appropriate
Participate in organizational meetings focused on improving patient care and medical procedures
Provide professional supervision of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
Completion of at least one year of supervised clinical experience (internship or first year of residency training)
Current, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
California medical license required

Certifications
Current medical license required
CPR, ACLS, and PALS certification required every two years
