Staten Island, NY Community Psychiatry Flexible Schedule
Total Compensation: $120 $180 per hour
We are seeking a compassionate and mission-driven Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist to join an established Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program serving adults with serious and persistent mental illness throughout Staten Island.

Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adults with serious mental illness.
- Provide ongoing medication management and psychiatric follow-up services.
- Collaborate with nurses, social workers, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to coordinate treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to support client-centered care.
- Offer clinical guidance and consultation to behavioral health staff.
- Support psychiatric oversight and collaboration with advanced practice providers.
- Engage with family members, caregivers, and community supports when appropriate.
- Promote recovery-focused treatment approaches that emphasize independence and community integration.
- Assist in identifying and addressing barriers to treatment engagement and adherence.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified in Psychiatry.
- Active New York medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
- Strong clinical assessment and medication management skills.
- Commitment to serving individuals with serious mental illness.
- Experience in Assertive Community Treatment (ACT).
- Background in community psychiatry or mobile behavioral health services.
- Experience working with high-acuity adult psychiatric populations.
- Familiarity with recovery-oriented and person-centered treatment models.
- Experience supervising or collaborating with psychiatric nurse practitioners.
