- Call Coverage: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Call Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
- Must work full assignment block
Required Licenses, Certifications & QualificationsRequired
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in ENT
- Active California Medical License
- Fellowship Training Required
- Minimum Case Log Requirement: 50 ENT cases within past 24 months
- ABLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- ATLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- PALS Certification
Licensing Restrictions
- IMLC not accepted (California license required)
Practice Setting
- Hospital and Outpatient Coverage
- Inpatient + Outpatient mix
Call Structure
- Call Type: Beeper call
- Call Coverage: Assigned and Unassigned Patients
- Required Response Time: 15-20 minutes
- Stroke Certified Facility
- Hospital Bed Size: 209 beds
- Trauma Designation: None
Clinical Responsibilities
- Clinic coverage during daytime hours
- Inpatient consults and rounding (assigned and unassigned patients)
- Emergency ENT call coverage
- Admissions required
- Low-volume inpatient consults (0-3 patients during call)
Clinical Volume & Patient Care
- Pediatric to adult population (18+ years)
- Mixed inpatient and outpatient ENT cases
- Expected admissions during shifts (variable; often unknown)
