JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active WV license, Universal License (IMLC), or WV temp license
  • Board: Board Certified
  • DEA: DEA required
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
  • Perform initial evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and EKGs.
  • Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges with hospitalist and specialty teams.
  • Document all patient encounters and clinical care accurately in the Cerner EMR system.
