About this role:

Intermountain Health is expanding our Urology service line in Denver, and we are seeking a board-certified general Urologist with a strong interest or experience in Men's Health, TURPs, general urology, and robotic procedures using the DaVinci robotic system. We're looking for a physician who is interested in building and growing a high-quality program within a supportive environment.

In this role, you will practice the full spectrum of general urology with an emphasis on Men's Health, including diagnosis, treatment planning, minimally invasive procedures, and pre- and postoperative care. You'll manage common urological conditions such as kidney stones, urinary tract infections, and prostate issues, with access to advanced technology including the DaVinci robotic system and a new Aquablation system for BPH treatment.

How we'll support you:

Compensation: Our competitive compensation consists of an initial base salary of $560,000 plus a wRVU bonus incentive. We are also offering a $25,000 starting bonus. A relocation bonus of up to $20,000 is available to applicable candidates.

What you'll bring:

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Residency trained and Board Certified/Eligible in Urology
  • Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
  • Ideal candidates will bring expertise in TURPs and robotic procedures using the DaVinci robotic system

About Saint Joseph Hospital:

Saint Joseph Hospital is a 360 bed level IV trauma center right in downtown Denver. While the hospital was founded by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth in 1873, a new state-of-the-art hospital was opened in 2014.
