Job description

We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum opportunity in York, PA.

Schedule

  • Clinic + procedures + call coverage
  • Clinic hours: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
  • Night call: 3:30 PM 7:00 AM
  • 24-hour call shifts: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
  • Coverage needed 1 2 weeks per month
  • Start: May 2026 Ongoing

Clinical Details

  • Hospital-based role with mix of clinic, OR, and inpatient rounding
  • 9 surgeries per week
  • Responsibilities include cardiothoracic procedures and urgent cases, including TAVR support
  • Daily workflow includes morning rounds, clinic, and afternoon hospital coverage

Support

  • APP support onsite
  • Large 596-bed hospital with established cardiac program
  • Collaborative environment with structural heart team
  • EMR: EPIC
