Facility in York, PA seeking Vascular Surgery locums coverage Rates: $150/hr Opportunity Highlights - Start Date: ASAP (Targeting May 11, 2026).
- Contract Length: Ongoing.
- Schedule: 4 days per week.
- Flexible shifts: Four 10-hour days (07 00) OR Five 8-hour shifts.
- Setting: Inpatient/Hospital only (York Hospital).
- Support: Collaboration with nursing staff, residents, and attending vascular surgeons.
- EMR: EPIC.
Clinical Responsibilities The PA will be responsible for managing a high-acuity vascular patient population, ensuring continuity of care from admission to discharge.
- In-House Rounding: Managing approximately 20 patients per day.
- Consultations: Performing vascular surgical consults throughout the hospital.
- OR Support: If the provider possesses the requisite skill set, they will assist in the Operating Room.
- Patient Population: 18 years and older (Adult/Geriatric).
Provider Requirements - Board Status: PA-C certification (Required).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Vascular Surgery or a surgical subspecialty.
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) State License in hand or willing to license (90-day window).
- DEA: Required (must have or obtain a PA address for the DEA).
- Documentation: NPDB self-query (dated within 6 months) required at presentation.
- Full 7-year work history or 10 previous assignments.
- Full disclosure of all malpractice history.
