What You ll Do
  • Provide ENT care for patients aged 18+, both outpatient and inpatient
  • Conduct patient consultations, assessments, and diagnosis for ENT conditions
  • Participate in rounding for assigned and unassigned patients on the unit
  • Respond promptly to calls (15-20 mins response time) during scheduled on-call hours
  • Manage and coordinate admissions, documentation, and follow-ups using Athena/Cerner EMR systems
  • Support after-hours call coverage for ENT patients, including emergency situations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care
What You Need
Required:
  • California medical license in good standing
  • Board Certified in Otolaryngology
  • 50+ case logs in ENT within the past 24 months
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, ATLS, ABLS certifications
  • Ability to work full stretch of dates and hours as specified

Preferred:
  • Experience with Athena or Cerner EMR systems
  • Previous inpatient/outpatient mixed practice experience
About the Assignment
This assignment is at a respected hospital with 209 beds, certified as a Stroke Center, and equipped for both inpatient and outpatient ENT care. The facility supports a robust team of in-office staff, nurses, and support personnel, providing a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for managing both outpatient clinics and inpatient rounding, with a focus on quality patient care during a high-volume period.
