We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for an ongoing locum opportunity in Chambersburg, PA.
Schedule
- Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Full-time coverage preferred (minimum 3 days/week)
- 1 week/month call rotation (weekends + nights, light volume)
- Ongoing assignment with schedule built well in advance
Clinical Details
- Outpatient-focused with some inpatient consults
- Average 15 patients per day (mix of new consults and follow-ups)
- Adult population; 2/3 oncology, 1/3 hematology
- Community oncology cases (lung, breast, prostate, colorectal)
- No inpatient chemo; infusion handled in clinic setting
Support
- Team-based environment with NP support and virtual hematologist
- Access to infusion centers, tumor boards, and radiation oncology coordination
- Not a solo role; strong collaborative structure
- EMR/Dictation: EPIC & Nuance
