A hospital-based radiology group is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to provide onsite clinical coverage across a variety of shifts. This role supports a diverse diagnostic service line and is ideal for candidates comfortable working independently in a dynamic, high-acuity environment.
Schedule
- Coverage needed across days, evenings, and nights
- Flexible scheduling model (commonly structured blocks with time off between rotations)
- Shifts may vary in length and timing
- Candidates MUST be willing to schedule at least a month out
Clinical Scope
- General diagnostic radiology with subspecialty emphasis
- Modalities and case mix vary by shift
- No interventional responsibilities
- Volume is manageable but variable depending on coverage needs
Work Environment
- Onsite-only position
- 24/7 radiology coverage model
- Modern imaging and dictation systems
- EMR: Epic
- PACS and voice recognition tools in place
- Travel support provided, if applicable
Requirements
- Board Certified (or board eligible with certification in progress prior to start)
- Fellowship training required
- Eligible for state medical licensure
- Ability to work independently across assigned shifts
