What You ll Do: - Provide inpatient night-time coverage in a busy hospital setting
- Manage an average inpatient census of 15 patients and approximately 2 admits per night
- Respond to calls and consults within 20 minutes of need
- Perform patient assessments, documentation, and interdisciplinary communication
- Cover emergency and routine hospitalist duties as assigned
- Attend onsite orientation conducted one day prior to start date
What You Need: - Must be US Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Hold an active Michigan medical license
- Active MI Controlled Substance license and DEA registration
- Minimum 2 years of hospitalist experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts with flexibility to be on-call during scheduled hours
