Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - Radiology (Interventional)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled locum Radiologist to join our dynamic team in Grass Valley, California. The facility is a General Acute Care Hospital with a strong commitment to quality patient care, including Stroke certification. The practice provides a range of services from hospital coverage to outpatient imaging, supporting a collaborative environment with experienced staff in Diagnostic Imaging.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide hospital coverage for Radiology, including IR needs, Stroke CT s, and other procedures.
- Oversee outpatient imaging procedures at Building 4, including contrasted CT s, MRI s, and breast biopsies.
- Perform required procedures such as lumbar punctures, barium studies, various centesis exams, and CT/US biopsies.
- Conduct IR Procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy tubes, intra-abdominal abscess drainage, chest tubes, and suprapubic catheters.
- Interpret and report findings for approximately 50 studies and 4-6 procedures per day.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
- Completion of residency with relevant fellowship training.
- Strong procedural skills and capability for acute care imaging.
- Experience with Stroke CT s and ED/ICU imaging studies preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active state medical license in California.
- BLS and DEA certifications required during credentialing.
- CA Fluoroscopy certification required at submission.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
