A healthcare facility in Potsdam, New York is seeking a locum Hematology/Oncology physician for outpatient coverage.
Compensation:
$525/hr

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
1-hour lunch included
Full-time highly preferred, though near full-time availability may be considered
Clinical Responsibilities
Management of hematology and oncology patients
Chemotherapy management
Immunotherapy treatment support
Targeted therapy management
Hormone therapy management
Occasional inpatient consults as needed
Patient Volume
Approximately patients per day
15 infusion chairs onsite
Practice Environment
Outpatient clinic setting
EMR: Epic
AI-assisted charting available
Program currently in a growth phase requiring flexibility and adaptability
Support Staff
1 MD onsite
1 NP
3 CMA/CNA support staff
Requirements
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
Active New York license required at time of submission
Minimum 5 years of experience required
Epic experience required
Updated work history required with no gaps greater than 30 days
Physician statement required for any malpractice history, including dismissed cases
Candidate email and phone number required at presentation
Additional Information
Overtime paid after 40 hours/week
Professional attire required
Closed-toe shoes required
All orientation hours billable
