ATC West Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB Hospitalist to join its team in Pueblo, Colorado. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care in a collaborative environment supported by Certified Nurse Midwives, OB/GYN backup coverage, and a Level II-B NICU team. Dates/Schedule Schedule
- 7 to 8 twenty-four-hour shifts per month
- Full-time hospital-based position
Practice Setting
- 269-bed community hospital
- Approximately 140 deliveries per month
- Level II-B NICU providing care for newborns delivered at 31 weeks gestation and beyond
Job Details & Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive in-house obstetric care
- Manage labor and delivery patients
- Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries as needed
- Evaluate and manage obstetric triage patients
- Provide gynecologic consultations
- Perform emergent gynecologic surgeries
- Manage acute obstetric and gynecologic clinical issues
Collaborative Practice Environment
- Work alongside experienced Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) on every shift
- Supported by dedicated OB/GYN backup coverage
- Collaborate with neonatal specialists within the Level II-B NICU
- Utilize Epic EMR integrated across the system for coordinated patient care
Required Skills & Qualifications Required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (within 0-5 years of residency completion)
- Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain one
- DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start)
- Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report dated within 30 days of presentation
- Disclosure of visa sponsorship requirements (J-1 or H-1B, if applicable)
