What You ll Do
- Provide outpatient hematology and oncology patient care, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy.
- Manage patient flow with an estimated 18-20 patients per day, providing inpatient consults as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinic staff to coordinate treatment plans.
- Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting, with AI support.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with clinic policies, including clock-in/out and dress code.
- Communicate with team members regarding schedule, patient updates, and coverage needs.
What You Need
Required: - NY State Physician Assistant license in hand
- Experience with Epic EMR (preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced oncology outpatient environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to practice growth and workflow changes
Preferred: - Prior oncology or chemotherapy experience
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
