What You ll Do- Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop individualized plans of care.
- Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions.
- Provide skilled, medically necessary occupational therapy treatment, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive/assistive devices.
- Assess progress, adjust treatments as needed, and evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness.
- Communicate with patients and families/caregivers, and collaborate with the broader health team on barriers and treatment plans.
- Document all required information in the electronic documentation system, including recording treatment minutes accurately.
- Participate in required meetings and facility/company trainings, and complete required discharge summaries.
What You NeedRequired - Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure/certification to practice in the applicable state (exact credential not listed)
- Commitment to professional standards, including adherence to NBCOT and the state practice act/code of conduct/ethics for occupational therapy
Preferred - Experience working in Long Term Care (LTC) settings (not explicitly stated, but aligned with the assignment)
