CRNA Locum Opportunity
A healthcare system in Maine is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time locum assignment with an immediate need and the potential for extension.
Compensation:
Hourly: $260/hr
Overtime: $260/hr
Assignment Details
Coverage Dates: June 29 September 25, 2026
Extension possibility available
40-hour weekly guarantee
Schedule
Monday Friday
Either:
4 x 10-hour shifts with a rotating day off, or
5 x 8-hour shifts per week
No call responsibilities
Practice Setting
Inpatient only
Supervision model: 2 CRNAs to 1 Anesthesiologist
Epic EMR
Case Mix
Bread-and-butter anesthesia cases
Excluded case types:
Neurosurgery
Cardiac surgery
Thoracic/lung procedures
Spine surgery
Cath lab
EP lab
Trauma cases
Dental procedures
Pediatric Cases
Approximately 1 day per week
Patients older than 1 year
ASA I II
Primarily:
Ear tubes
Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy (T&A)
Obstetrics
CRNAs may provide anesthesia for elective and emergent C-sections performed in the OR
No labor epidural responsibilities
Requirements
Required
NBCRNA Certification
Active Maine License or Compact License
Ability to cover the entire assignment period (June 29 September 25)
Epic proficiency (must be noted at presentation)
COVID and Flu Vaccinations (required; no exemptions accepted)
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
Travel origin city must be disclosed at name clear
