What You ll Do
  • Provide anesthesia care for cardiac and cardiothoracic surgery cases, including CABGs, valve repair/replacements, Aortic Root procedures, lung surgeries, and rib plating
  • Support a small ECMO program, with minimal call involvement
  • Cover 2 5 cases daily within a dedicated cardiac anesthesia team
  • Participate in evening and weekend call shifts with minimal on-call frequency
  • Document patient care using Epic EMR (highly preferred)
  • Ensure compliance with hospital and cardiac anesthesia protocols
What You Need
Required:
  • Board Certified CRNA
  • South Carolina license or compact license (willing to license if needed)
  • Minimum 1 year of cardiac anesthesia experience

Preferred:
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
  • Experience with Epic EMR

This assignment is at a Level III trauma hospital, specializing in cardiac and thoracic surgeries. The facility maintains a focused cardiac anesthesia team providing high-quality care for a variety of complex procedures in a busy surgical unit.
