Location: Nestled in the heart of Pueblo, Colorado, the Parkview Medical Center provides a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to high-quality healthcare. Our expanding Gastroenterology group is seeking a passionate Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to contribute to our dynamic team. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to impact the lives of patients within a high-volume practice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions, aiming for high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Perform advanced ERCP procedures using state-of-the-art endoscopy equipment.
- Collaborate with a team of five gastroenterologists and other medical professionals for comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation to ensure continuous patient care.
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for effective documentation and communication.
- Manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining UCHealth s standards for world-class care.
- Engage in professional development opportunities, including CME, in a supportive team environment.
- NOT DOING ANY LOCUMS OR LOCUMS TO PERM
- Able to support visa candidates for this position.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Gastroenterology - REQUIRED
- Active Colorado Medical License (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Experience with ERCP Procedures - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Current COVID Vaccination - REQUIRED
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - REQUIRED
- Eligibility for J1 or H1B visa sponsorship - REQUIRED
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Colorado Medical License
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Current COVID Vaccination
- DEA certification
