Join Our Team as a Gynecology/Oncology Physician in Beautiful Colorado Springs, CO!
The UCHealth Medical Group in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for a permanent Gynecology/Oncology Physician to join their well-established, high-volume practice at Memorial Hospital in downtown Colorado Springs. This facility is well-equipped with 368 beds and offers a supportive environment with a large referral base to help you grow your practice. You will be part of a physician-led medical group with access to advanced resources, including a da Vinci XI surgical system, and the opportunity to participate in clinical trials and research.
Job Responsibilities:
- Join a highly skilled team with a dedicated Nurse Navigator and specialized Radiation Oncologist.
- Manage a patient caseload of 15-22 per day, primarily focusing on outpatient care.
- Collaborate with a full spectrum of ancillary support services such as pelvic physical therapy and cancer nutrition.
- Participate in shared call (1:2) with limited hospitalist admissions required.
- Engage in research trials and the University of Colorado School of Medicine Tumor Board.
- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records management.
- Provide mentoring or teaching opportunities to medical students as desired.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN and Gynecological Oncology.
- Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- Fellowship-trained in Gynecological Oncology (to be completed prior to start).
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
- Clean malpractice history is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active CO medical license (required).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN and Gynecological Oncology (required).
- DEA registration (to be obtained prior to start).
- Fellowship completion prior to start is necessary.
