Position Overview
This role provides full-scope Family Medicine care across the lifespan (pediatrics through geriatrics). Physicians practice in a collaborative environment with opportunities in outpatient clinic, urgent care, inpatient, and emergency care settings.
Prenatal care experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic care
- Evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions across all age groups
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and vaccinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Participate in quality improvement, safety, and patient engagement initiatives
- Serve as an active member of the medical staff, including potential roles in hospitalist and ED coverage
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Serve on committees and contribute to organizational initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited U.S. program (or equivalent with ECFMG certification)
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license (FSMB recognized)
- Life Certifications, BLS, ACLS, etc.
- Unrestricted DEA
- Clean NPDB
