Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician Indiana

Shift: Nights - 10:30 PM - 7:30 AM (9-hour shifts)
Setting: Acute Care Hospital Level III Trauma 220 Beds 42K annual volume
Coverage Dates Needed:
- Sept 16 - Sept 24
- Oct 11 - Oct 20
- Dec 10 - Dec 16
Details:
- Coverage type: Inpatient + Call
- Reason for coverage: Staff leaving
- ABEM/AOBEM board certified/eligible required (within 5 years of residency)
- Average volume: 2 patients/hour overnight
- Double/triple coverage until 2 AM, then single coverage 2-6 AM
- Active Indiana license required (IMLC considered, but IN license preferred)
- CSR required prior to start
- Credentialing: 60-90 days No interview required
- EMR: Epic
- Minimum 12 shifts / 108 hours per month during coverage blocks
- Seeking 1 provider only - must be able to cover most or all listed dates
Requirements:
- Active IN state license
- BLS required; ACLS required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
- Flu & COVID vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
