OnCall Solutions is actively seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Urologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity supporting a hospital-based urology program located in Indiana.
Opportunity Details
• ASAP start with ongoing assignment
• Two providers needed
• Ideal schedule is week-on/week-off
• Call-only coverage is acceptable
• Potential opportunity to provide both clinic and call coverage depending on availability and fit
• Adult inpatient urology coverage
• Inpatient rounding and admissions required
• ED beeper call coverage with emergent in-person response as needed
• Must be able to arrive on-site within 30 minutes for emergent call situations
• Average call volume estimated at 2 phone consults per 24-hour period
• Approximately 10% callback rate
• Average patient volume: 8 patients per shift
• Department size: 25 beds
• Epic EMR
• Inpatient setting
• Stroke-certified facility
• Temporary privileges available
Support Staff
• 1 RN
• 1 Medical Assistant
• 1 Office Staff Member
Requirements
• Active state license or IMLC required to bid
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Fellowship training required
• Experience with adult inpatient urology care
• Experience managing ED beeper call coverage and emergent consults
• ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
Credentialing
• Temporary privileges available
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days
