- Provider must remain within 20 minutes of the hospital while on call
- Onsite lodging provided during assignment
Licensure Requirements
- Active North Carolina Medical License - Required
- Active North Carolina DEA Registration - Required
- DEA must be registered to a North Carolina address
Board Certification
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery - Required
Required Certifications
Clinical ExpectationsTypical Daily Volume
- 0-3 orthopedic consults per day
- 0-2 emergency department visits for closed reductions and admissions
- 0-2 surgeries per day

- Long bone trauma stabilization and transfer when appropriate
