Interventional Cardiology Physician (MD/DO) Locum Opportunity Contract Length: Ongoing
Assignment Overview - Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Call: Nightly call when covering + STEMI call required
- Coverage Need:
- Up to 40 hours/week
- Coverage needed every other month and for vacation coverage
Practice Setting - Hospital & Clinic-based practice
- Academic/teaching environment
- Telemedicine opportunities available
- Hospital Size: 270 beds
- EMR: Epic
Clinical Details - Specialty: Interventional Cardiology
- Patient Volume: 18 patients per day
- Patient Population: Adults ( years old)
Procedures Include: - Right & Left Heart Catheterization (R/LHC)
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Balloon Angioplasty
- Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
- Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS)
Support Staff - Outpatient: Dedicated clinical team
- Inpatient: Assigned APP
- Cath Lab: Full support staff
Requirements - Board Certification: BC in Interventional Cardiology
- License: Active state license required
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: ACLS & BLS required
- Experience: Prior interventional cardiology experience required
Credentialing - Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
- Temporary Privileges: Available with clean file
