What You ll Do: - Evaluate patients' functional abilities through informal and formal assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physician directives
- Coordinate and document treatment activities, updating plans as needed
- Educate patients and families about pathology, treatment options, and prognosis
- Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, aides, and students
- Recommend assistive and adaptive equipment; assist with equipment procurement
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with policies and regulations
What You Need: - Valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
- Prior experience in outpatient and acute care preferred
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
Preferred: - Experience with comprehensive patient education
- Supervisory experience with therapy assistants and students
