What You ll Do: - Evaluate patients across all acuity levels from ICU to progressive care units
- Develop and follow personalized care plans focused on ADL training, therapeutic exercises, and functional improvements
- Assess discharge needs and make appropriate recommendations
- Document patient progress accurately in Cerner
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of 19 professionals in a fast-paced inpatient rehab setting
- Contribute to a supportive environment for patients recovering from cardiac procedures, strokes, TBI, joint replacements, respiratory illnesses, and neurological conditions
What You Need: - Indiana state OT license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in acute hospital rehab
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Cerner experience preferred but not mandatory
About the Assignment:This role takes place within a busy inpatient acute care rehabilitation unit, providing opportunities to work with a diverse patient population with complex needs. The OT will evaluate, develop, and execute plans of care to support patient recovery and optimize functional outcomes, contributing to a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
