Locums - Marion, North Carolina CRNA Opportunity
Clinical Role
Join a collaborative anesthesia team at a community acute care hospital providing a broad mix of surgical and obstetrical anesthesia services. This six-month locums opportunity is ideal for experienced CRNAs who are comfortable practicing autonomously, including solo call coverage, while working within a supportive care team model.

Position Highlights
- Six-month locums assignment
- Mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour weekday shifts
- Care team model with physician support during scheduled hours
- Solo provider during call coverage

Schedule & Coverage
- Monday - Friday: Mixture of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour in-house shifts
- Weeknight Call: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Weekend Call: 7:00 AM Saturday - 7:00 AM Monday
- Call rotation: 1:4 as either primary or secondary call
- Call is required
- Primary call experiences a greater than 50% callback rate, primarily for add-on surgical cases and overnight epidural placements

Setting: Acute care hospital
Facility Information:
- 30 inpatient beds
- Approximately 150 anesthesia cases per month
- Approximately 200 deliveries annually
Responsibilities Include:
- Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures
- Provide obstetrical anesthesia, including epidural placement
- Independently manage anesthesia care while on solo call
- Perform preoperative evaluations and postoperative assessments
- Collaborate with surgeons, obstetricians, and hospital staff
- Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care in an autonomous practice setting

- Daily staffing:
- 1 Anesthesiologist
- 3 CRNAs
- Physician-to-CRNA ratio: 1:3
- On-site orientation provided during the first several scheduled shifts
Requirements
- Active North Carolina medical license or Compact License that allows expedited North Carolina licensure - Required
- Experienced in Obstetrical Anesthesia - Required
- Must be comfortable practicing independently in a highly autonomous environment, including solo call - Required
- Must provide case logs demonstrating proficiency in:
- Regional anesthesia
- Obstetrical anesthesia
- Regional Anesthesia Course Certification - Highly Preferred
