Job description

  • START DATE: ASAP
  • ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: ASAP - Jan 5, 2026
  • SCHEDULE:
    • Primary hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
    • Select dates: 11:30 AM 8:00 PM
    • Coverage needed for multiple dates ASAP through December 2025, including Dec 21 Jan 5
    • No on-call

    WORKSITE SETTING: Hospital-based Pathology/Laboratory

    SCOPE OF WORK:
    • Perform grossing of large surgical specimens
    • Assist pathologists with specimen preparation and processing
    • Support pathology workflow for surgical cases
    VOLUME & SUPPORT:
    • High-volume surgical specimen processing
    • Collaboration with pathology team

    LICENSURES CERTIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: Must have active SC license Must have experience grossing large specimens ASCP Certified required Board Certified - PA w/ pathology experience BLS
