Opportunity:

Physician - Urology


Job Details:

  • Provide inpatient urology coverage through 24-hour beeper call shifts

  • Coverage need is approximately 1 week per month, with 3 to 4 scheduled 24-hour call shifts per week

  • Additional shifts may be available for providers comfortable with the census and consecutive 24-hour call shifts

  • Average callback is 4 to 5 hours daily, varying based on caseload

  • Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift

  • General urology skills required with adult patient population focus

  • Preferred skills include percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and robotic surgery

  • Preferred procedures also include renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)

  • Board certification required

  • Active state license or IMLC required

  • DEA required

  • BLS certification required
