To be successful in this role, you will be a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist, committed to upholding the ethical standards of the American Medical Association and specialized medical boards. You will possess exceptional clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and a passion for delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare.
- Delivers High-Quality Patient Care and Documentation: Physicians provide superior ambulatory care, conducting examinations, services, and maintaining meticulous medical records in accordance with all policies, including those for managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Adheres to Regulatory and Ethical Standards: Physicians strictly comply with all federal and state reimbursement plans, the ethical and religious directives of sponsoring entities, and the Hospital's comprehensive policies, procedures, and medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations.
- Engages in Quality Improvement and Peer Review: Physicians actively participate in clinical and quality improvement initiatives, contribute to physician peer review, utilization review, and serve on medical staff committees as assigned to enhance overall service delivery.
- Contributes to Operational Excellence and Professional Growth: Physicians advise on operational matters, including personnel, business oversight, and equipment evaluation, while maintaining professional competence through continuous medical education and board certification, staying abreast of the latest medical developments.
We are offering a highly competitive compensation package, featuring a $700,000 guaranteed base salary (plus RVU incentive pay), a $50,000 sign-on bonus, $15,000 relocation assistance, $30,000 student loan repayment, CME funds, flexible time away, and a generous 401(k) with match.
