Position Overview:
Join a high-acuity, regional Level IV NICU team serving a diverse neonatal population with an average census of 55 patients and 1,400+ admissions annually. Work in a collaborative, academic-focused environment alongside Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, pediatric surgical subspecialists, and a renowned cardiovascular program.
What You ll Do:
Deliver expert care to critically ill neonates in a high-volume NICU
Participate in advanced interventions like:
Whole-body cooling
Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapy
Palliative care
Maternal & neonatal transport
Be part of a specialized Small Baby Unit
Collaborate with a wide network of subspecialists
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and academic enrichment
Contribute to residency and fellowship training programs

Requirements:
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (within 5 years of training) Required
California Medical License or ability to obtain Required
DEA must be secured prior to start Required
Clean malpractice and license history Preferred
Must reside locally or be willing to relocate Required
