Practice Setting and Clinical Scope
This opportunity places you in a clinic and call setting within a highly regarded medical center. The practice addresses both obstetric and gynecologic needs, offering a variety of procedures including routine and complicated deliveries, and a range of gynecological surgeries. The facility is equipped with modern technology including onsite ultrasound and lab services, ensuring you have all the tools necessary for comprehensive patient care.
Schedule and Assignment Details
The position offers a variable schedule with shifts running from 8 AM to 8 PM or 8 PM to 8 AM. Call duties are shared among the team, ensuring a balanced workload. The assignment begins on August 15, 2026, with the potential for ongoing coverage. Physicians can expect to see 14-16 patients per day in a clinic setting, providing ample opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the community's health.
Support and Work Environment
Join a supportive team with 1 full-time MD, 1 GYN MD, and 1 PRN MD, alongside four Certified Nurse Midwives who often take primary call. Each clinician in the clinic is assigned a dedicated medical assistant, and there is a triage nurse available to assist as needed. The birth center is staffed with an adaptable team of RNs based on patient census. This collaborative environment is designed to ensure optimal patient care and professional satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in OB/GYN.
- Active Vermont license or eligibility for IMLC with Vermont inclusion.
- Completion of accredited OB/GYN residency in the U.S. or Canada.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
- Must submit a recent NPDB Self Query Report.
