Job description

A non-profit, independent health system in southwest Connecticut with over 4,100 employees is adding a gynecologic oncologist to serve as Director of Gynecologic Oncology within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

About the Opportunity:

  • The ideal candidate will join a strong, well-established program and help lead its continued expansion.
  • The health system maintains a collaboration with Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center, offering access to virtual second opinions, clinical trials, and advanced, evidence-based cancer care.
  • 90% clinical and 10% administrative
  • Teaching and mentorship of OB/GYN residents and medical students
  • Multidisciplinary collaboration with medical, surgical, and radiation oncology
  • Two OR days weekly; access to three robotic platforms
  • Call is 1:4 weeks, shared with urogynecology team
  • Chemotherapy administered by onsite medical oncologists
  • EPIC EMR
  • A second gynecologic oncologist is planned with the opening of the new cancer center in 2028.
